We met in the Netherlands on Erasmus, we kissed for the first time at a student party in Delft, 25 years ago in July. After some time, Eva kidnapped Christof and took him to Spain. We lived our first years in Seville, where in addition to processions and fairs we got tired of working. In 2002 the work took us to Madrid, the city of Eva for so many (SO MANY) years as a student. On August 8, 2003 we got married in the garden of La Mariana, the house of Benjamín and Mercedes (RIP) in La Yedra (Baeza). An unforgettable party, surrounded by family and good friends from many parts of Europe. Since then life has taken us up and down on its lap, Madrid, Salou, Barcelona, Stuttgart, Barcelona again, Cambrils during the pandemic, and now we live again in our beloved Barcelona. Along the way, some of our loved ones have left us, although we carry them forever in our hearts. But life makes its way, our respective families have grown, and the two of us have made ours grow and flourish: Hauke in 2004, Olivia in 2009 and since last August, Ella, a female German Shorthaired Pointer, who has turned the house and our lives. Also in these 20 years we have added many new good friends to the ones we already had.

We would very much like to celebrate with all of you, that despite the dystopia of these last 3 years, we are still alive and kicking, and instead of waiting for the silver wedding anniversary, we have decided to celebrate the porcelain one, because who knows what might happen in the next 5 years...
